Vietjet 9.9 Sale: 0 VND Fares, 22% Deluxe Discount and Booking Checklist

Last verified: September 9, 2026. Vietjet is running a three-day “9.9” promotion with selected Eco fares starting from 0 VND before taxes and fees, plus a discount on eligible Deluxe international fares.

The headline price is not the final amount most passengers will pay. Taxes, airport charges, optional baggage, seat selection, meals and payment-related charges can change the total. Travellers should compare the complete checkout price and review visa requirements before confirming a non-refundable booking.

Vietjet 9.9 sale dates

Vietjet’s official announcement lists the promotional booking window as:

  • Starts: September 8, 2026 at 00:00
  • Ends: September 10, 2026 at 23:00
  • Where to book: Vietjet’s official website or mobile app

Passengers should confirm the displayed time and availability for their market. Promotional inventory can sell out before the advertised closing time.

What the promotion includes

Eco fares from 0 VND

Selected domestic and international Eco tickets are advertised from 0 VND. This base fare excludes applicable taxes and fees. It does not mean the complete journey is free.

22% discount on selected Deluxe fares

The airline says passengers booking eligible Deluxe tickets on international routes can use the promotional code SALE99 for a 22% fare discount, excluding taxes and fees. Check the final payment screen to confirm that the code was accepted.

Travel period

The advertised travel period runs from September 10, 2026 to September 10, 2027, subject to the promotion’s route availability, excluded dates and fare conditions.

Routes highlighted by Vietjet

Vietjet also highlighted planned international route expansion for late 2026 and early 2027, including connections involving:

  • Hanoi and Prague;
  • Hanoi and Almaty;
  • Hanoi and Tainan;
  • Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City and Cebu or Clark;
  • Ho Chi Minh City and Chiang Mai;
  • Da Nang and Osaka; and
  • Ho Chi Minh City and Western Sydney Airport.

A planned route may have a limited schedule or may not be bookable for every date. Confirm the operating airport and timetable directly with the airline.

How to check whether a sale fare is genuinely cheaper

  1. Search the same route on nearby dates.
  2. Record the base fare shown for each option.
  3. Add the baggage allowance you actually need.
  4. Add seats, meals or priority services only if required.
  5. Check the currency and card conversion cost.
  6. Compare the final total—not the promotional headline—with other suitable flights.

A low base fare can still be good value, but only when the schedule, baggage allowance and change conditions match your journey.

Check baggage before paying

Low-cost fare bundles may include different cabin and checked-baggage allowances. Verify the allowance for each passenger and each flight segment. Purchasing baggage during the initial booking can sometimes cost less than adding it later, but prices and conditions vary.

Visa and entry checks for international routes

A flight promotion does not guarantee permission to enter or transit through a country. Before paying, check:

  • passport validity on the intended travel date;
  • destination visa, eVisa or visa-exemption conditions;
  • airport transit-visa requirements;
  • whether baggage must be collected during a connection;
  • onward-ticket or proof-of-funds requirements; and
  • the correct arrival airport, especially where a city has multiple airports.

Use the destination government’s immigration website or embassy as the final source. Do not purchase a non-refundable fare solely because a social-media account says a visa is unnecessary.

Change and refund conditions

Promotional tickets can have restrictions. Before checkout, read the rules for:

  • date or route changes;
  • name corrections;
  • refund eligibility;
  • missed flights and no-shows; and
  • schedule changes initiated by the airline.

Save the fare conditions and booking confirmation. If the airline changes the schedule later, these records can help when discussing alternatives.

Safe booking checklist

  • Book through Vietjet’s official website or app.
  • Confirm the passenger names match their passports.
  • Review every airport and connection.
  • Verify visas before choosing a restrictive fare.
  • Check the final price, currency and baggage.
  • Save the confirmation email and payment record.
  • Avoid unofficial agents promising guaranteed tickets or visas.
